CLAY SHOOT TO BENEFIT HABITAT FOR HUMANITY IS BACK FOR 2021
The 15th Annual Clay Shoot Benefiting Abilene's Habitat for Humanity that is put on by the Big Country Home Builders Association will be held on Saturday, August 14th beginning at 8 AM. This clay shoot takes place at Abilene Clay Sports range, located at 1102 E Spur 707, in south Abilene.

ABILENE CBB STYLE SHOW BENEFIT IS AUGUST 12TH
The annual American Cancer Society fashion show will be held at the 201 Mesquite Event Center. The American Cancer Society's "Couture for a Cure Style Show" is presented by United Supermarkets and Market Street. Enjoy local cancer survivors gracing the Cattle Baron's Ball (CBB) Show runway! SECOND CHANCE COWBOY CHURCH HOSTS SUMMER PLAYDAY August 14TH
Get ready for some summer riding fun and competition at the Second Chance Cowboy Church in Clyde, America. The church is hosting a Summer Playday on Saturday, August 14th in Clyde. The events will include Poles, Barrels, and Flags. The cost is $5 per event as this is a Church fundraiser.

THE TEXAS GUN & KNIFE SHOW COMES TO ABILENE ON AUGUST 14TH & 15TH
Get the ammo you've been looking for at the Texas Gun and Knife Show at the Abilene Convention Center Saturday show hours are from 9 am until 5 pm and, Sunday show hours are 10 AM until 4 PM. Plus with deer season right around the corner, find that perfect deer rifle and scope. FOOD MANAGERS CERTIFICATION TRAINING IS AUGUST 16TH & 17TH
Learn about the major causes of foodborne illness and how to prevent them, increase your food safety knowledge, foodborne illnesses and how they are caused, food safety hazards, and sanitation regulations. Then take the certification exam, and become a state 'Certified Food Manager' from the Texas A&M AgriLife Extention Services in Abilene.

ST. VINCENT POLLATTI BALLET PRESENTS "MI TIERRA MEXICANA" LIVE
Get ready to learn more about the faith, history, and culture of Mexico and the people. The St Vincent Pollati Ballet Folklorico will perform their presentation in song and dance at the Paramount Theatre on August 21st and 22nd. Tickets will be available at the door.

LARRY JOE TAYLOR'S TEXAS MUSIC FESTIVAL IS SEPTEMBER 13TH-18TH
The Larry Joe Taylor (LJT) 32nd Annual Texas Music Festival has been rescheduled and is going to happen this year, from Monday, September 13th through Saturday, September 18th, 2021. The Texas Music Festival has been postponed since early 2019.
