The Texas-based Americana band Vandoliers are premiering the music video for their song “Rolling Out” exclusively for readers of The Boot. Press play above to watch the clip.

Blending punk progressions, Texas country rowdiness, a touch of Western swing and a hint of Tejano-inspired horns, “Rolling Out” is an ode to the road that’s given a whole lot of context in its accompanying video. Vandoliers filmed their "Rolling Out" music video as they covered more than 18,000 miles of ground across the United States.

The clip was directed by the band’s own Guyton Sanders and features highs and lows from life out on tour, including sold-out shows and even a moment on the side of the road trying to figure out how to deal with a broken-down van. The black-and-white time-lapse footage was taken while they were touring in support of their newest album, The Native.

A high-octane, wildly energetic six-piece from Dallas, Vandoliers have had a breakout year in 2017: They've earned a great deal of praise from Rolling Stone, American Songwriter, Vice and No Depression, among others, for their uniquely Texas sound. The Native is the band's sophomore album; they've spent a great deal of their time on the road alongside Americana stalwarts Old 97's.
