Nashville duo Two Story Road -- comprised of husband and wife Brandon and Jamelle Fraley -- are premiering the lyric video for their song “Detonate” exclusively for readers of The Boot. Press play above to watch.

Two Story Road’s “Detonate” is a catchy, radio-friendly tune about the first spark of a relationship. The song about falling in love showcases the Fraleys’ excellent harmonies.

“You and I might just detonate, detonate like the Fourth of July / Fireworks in a New Year's sky," Two Story Road sing in the chorus of "Detonate." "Highway, hands raised / Detonate, detonate / Gonna go down in history, or go down in flames.”

Two Story Road wrote the upbeat "Detonate" with Fred Wilhelm and Barry Weeks. After recording a few songs with longtime friend and fellow musician Hunter Hayes, they asked the singer to give them some feedback.

“We were at the studio one night and told him to check out the worktape demo we had done that day ... We vividly remember, after playing it for Hunter, he told us that he was pretty sure we had just written our first single for the album,” the Fraleys say. “We started recording it just a few days later, and as soon as we heard the playback with the entire band on it, we agreed that it would make for a great lead-off single for the album.”

After the release of their first-ever EP in late 2015, Two Story Road are currently working on their first full-length album. Both Brandon and Jamelle Fraley have extensive experience in Nashville, having performed alongside Nashville stars such as Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert, but these days, they’re developing their own unique sound intensively. Alongside Hayes, Brandon Fraley played most of the instruments on Two Story Road's forthcoming debut record himself, and both he and Jamelle had a hand in writing each of its 11 songs. Hayes and the Fraleys are co-producing the project.
