Twenty-eight years ago today (Oct. 8, 1994), Toby Keith was undoubtedly raising a glass to toast to his success. It was on that date that the singer earned his second No. 1 hit, with the song "Who's That Man."

"Who's That Man," which Keith wrote by himself, was the debut single from Keith's sophomore album, Boomtown. The poignant tune, with lines such as, "That's my house, and that's my car / That's my dog in my backyard / There's the window to the room / Where she lays her pretty head / I planted that tree out by the fence / Not long after we moved in / That's my kids, and that's my wife / Whose that man, runnin my life?" is written from the perspective of a divorced man who sees his ex-wife's new husband in the role he used to fill.

The success of "Who's That Man" helped Keith earn his first platinum album. Although "Who's That Man" was the only chart-topping song from Boomtown, the follow-up single, "Upstairs Downstairs," landed in the Top 10, while "You Ain't Much Fun" landed at No. 2.

Keith included "Who's That Man" on his Greatest Hits Volume One album, as well as 20th Century Masters -- The Millennium Collection: The Best of Toby Keith and 35 Biggest Hits.
