As a matter of fact, this is the 2nd straight year that the host city in the Super Bowl will have a team vying for the championship. Last year, the big game was held in Tampa Bay and, of course, the Bucs won that game.

What's even more interesting than that is the state of Texas will be represented by 20 players and coaches in the game between the Bengals and Rams. So, basically, Texas will make up about 20% of the players in this year's game.

What players from Texas are in Super Bowl LVI?

There will be 16 players in the game along with 4 coaches. Abilene Wylie is even represented with one of our own.

Texas Athletes in Super Bowl LVI

While gambling isn't legal in Texas, let's be real, there will be many of you laying some money on the line. So, let's take a quick look at the odds for the game.

The opening line, for Super Bowl LVI, is 3.5 points, in favor of the Rams, and the over/under is at 50. So, while Joe Cool is super hot, don't sleep on Stafford and the Rams.

My initial pick is for the Rams to win by 3 (29-26) thus also taking the over in this game. I just feel the Rams defense will be too much for the Bengals offensive line to handle and Burrow will be sacked 5 times in the game to go along with 2 costly Bengals turnovers.

Then again, I'm not a professional gambler, so you really shouldn't take my advice.
