Joe Ely was thrilled when he heard the news that his custom-made pool table guitar that had been stolen 27 years earlier in San Francisco was going to be returned to him. But the day after the Texas-based musician and his guitar were reunited, Ely was robbed. Again.

Joe Ely has to admit to being a very lucky man. After all, being a talented musician and being able make a career of that talent are two very good reasons for feeling lucky. But this week, Joe's luck reached another rather unexpected level, when he was reunited with a guitar that was stolen from him nearly three decades ago.

Larry Joe Taylor's music festival starts this Tuesday through Saturday in Stephenville at the Melody Mountain Ranch. This years line-up is a star studded event.
