The International Bluegrass Music Association (IMBA) has announced the Class of 2018 set to be inducted into the International Bluegrass Music Association Hall of Fame. Ricky Skaggs, Paul Williams and Tom T. and Dixie Hall will be receiving the honor.

For Skaggs, the honor comes as part of a banner year of recognition: The bluegrass legend was also inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame earlier in 2018.

IMBA has also announced the nominees for its 2018 IMBA Awards. Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder, the Punch Brothers and the Earls of Leicester are all among those nominated for awards this year. In addition to the Earls of Leicester, Balsam Range, Del McCoury Band, Doyle Lawon & Quicksilver and the Gibson Brothers are also up for Entertainer of the Year. Punch Brothers are once again nominated for Instrumental Group of the Year, and Molly Tuttle and Po' Ramblin' Boys are among those nominated for Emerging Artist of the Year.

A complete list of 2018 IMBA Awards nominees is below. Recipients of the IBMA's 2018 Distinguished Achievement Award will be George Gruhn, Christopher Howard-Williams, Curtis McPeake, Walter Saunders and Chris Thile.

The 2018 IMBA Awards ceremony will take place on Sept. 27 in Raleigh, N.C., during the annual World of Bluegrass Conference.
