For the first time in league history, the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) will host its World Bull Riding Finals and 2020 Women’s Rodeo World Championship (WRWC) in Arlington, Texas. The two events will be held in the Metroplex at the Will Rodgers Coliseum and at the AT&T Stadium, November 12-15, 2020.

For the most part the 2020 PBR Bull Riding Finals and the Women’s Rodeo World Championship will be a fan-attended event that will be strictly abiding by the CDC social distancing guidelines in a safe and healthy environment.

Abilene's own Hope Thompson, is competing in this years finals. Hope is set  to compete in the team-roping and the breakaway roping. When I interviewed Thompson, she told me that she would like to take home a "triple win" and that the breakaway roping might just be her "strongest event." Hope is on track to possibly win as much as $750,000.00 dollars if she wins in all her categories, which is a very real possibility.

On the Bull Riding side, one rider could be named the 2020 PBR World Champion earning the coveted gold buckle and $1 million bonus, while one bovine athlete will be anointed the 2020 YETI PBR World Champion Bull and receiving $100,000 in prize money. Leading right now and ranked at #1 is Jose Vitor Leme, recently winning seven events. PBR World Champion Jess Lockwood is looking take home his third PBR World Championship
