The new year has brought with it new music videos from up-and-comer Morgan Evans, Texas band Mike and the Moonpies and more country and Americana artists. Read on to watch 'em!

Morgan Evans, “Kiss Somebody”

If you want to know why Kelsea Ballerini fell for her now-husbandMorgan Evans, just watch his "Kiss Somebody" music video (and listen to the lyrics) ... He's clearly a romantic!

Directed by Jeff Venable, Evans' "Kiss Somebody" clip was filmed in "nearly a single-shot and in extreme slow-motion," a press release explains, and is "innovative" and "avant-garde." It gives visual representation to a guy walking away from a girl wishing he had kissed her -- and then to his decision to go back and just kiss her already! The video involves tripping a waiter, running into a mailman, catching a purse snatcher and more; Evans is a bystander, appearing in several different ways. -- CV

Mike and the Moonpies, "Road Crew"

Mike and the Moonpies' video for their song "Road Crew" is a tribute to roadies everywhere. As the band begins to play in front of a bleak white backdrop, with only the barest minimum of gear, the titular heroes -- the road crew -- gradually bring in pieces of sound equipment, props and even instruments to round out the band.

The "Road Crew" clip leaves no question as to the effectiveness of any musical group without their beloved roadies (as in, they need each other). By then end of the video, all six band member have instruments (and hats!), along with the appropriate sound and lighting for their performance. -- LS

Mo Pitney, “Clean Up on Aisle Five”

Country newcomer Mo Pitney shows off his acting skills in his new music video for "Clean Up on Aisle Five." In the clip, he runs into an ex-girlfriend while at the grocery store (obviously in Aisle 5); seeing her again brings back vivid memories of how things used to be. Amidst the coffee, dish detergent and dog food, Pitney turns into a mess on the inside, as he hasn't yet gotten over her.

"Clean Up on Aisle Five" is from Pitney's debut album, Behind This Guitar. It was co-written with Wil Nance. -- CV

Old Dominion, "Written in the Sand"

Old Dominion take the love song "Written in the Sand" and move the question of a lasting relationship to the longevity of a rising career in their latest music video. Featuring clips of live shows given around the world and snapshots of events with the band's fans, the video plays out like an animated, set-to-music scrapbook, sharing what has been a stellar career thus far.

Luke Combs, "One Number Away"

Luke Combs' “One Number Away" features extremely relatable with lyrics, including "Are you sitting at home, all alone, trying to fall asleep? / Are you staring a hole through your phone, praying that it rings? / Are you watching a movie that you've seen a thousand times? / Or maybe playing some Mayer, getting lost in your favorite lines?" In its accompanying lyric video, the color scheme is a mix of turquoise and red, and while the lyrics are the clip's focal point, it also features some images of the tropics, a carefree woman on a beach and flip flops.

Combs co-wrote "One Number Away" with Robert Williford, Sammy Mitchell and Steven Andre Battey. It's off his debut record, This One's for You, and the followup single to his No. 1 hits "Hurricane" and "When It Rains It Pours."

Tracy Lawrence, "Good Ole Days"

"Good Ole Days," Tracy Lawrence's collaboration with Big & Rich and 3 Doors Down frontman Brad Arnold makes for a fun and rowdy video; the track is also the title song of the album on which it appears.  The upbeat and raucous performance, which takes place at Tootsie's on Broadway in Nashville, captures the spirit of the throwback nostalgia to which the song refers. -- LS
