Calling all dog lovers! Miranda Lambert's MuttNation Foundation will put paws on the pavement at 2019 CMA Fest, with the country superstar leading an official "Mutt March" on June 6.

The event is in celebration of MuttNation's 10th anniversary and will kick off CMA Fest that Thursday, with the walk beginning at 8:30AM from Nissan Stadium.

Jimmie Allen's "Make Me Want To" Live Version Is Addicting

The parade of pups and humans will find their way across the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge and into Music City’s Walk of Fame Park, where Storme Warren will interview Lambert for a live broadcast on Sirius XM's the Highway. After the pup walk, there will be activities and refreshments available for both dogs and their owners.

"We’re hoping that 1,000 or more people, some with their furry friends, will join us walking in support of shelter pet adoption,” Lambert — the proud owner of eight rescues herself — says. Fans can register to take part in the MuttMarch now.

This will mark the third year that MuttNation will have adoptable dogs from the Nashville Humane Society available inside Xfinity Fan Fair X at Music City Center during the festival.

"Country music lovers and dog lovers, they go hand-in-hand," says Lambert, "and CMA Fest provides the perfect setting to make that special connection.”

The dogs will be on site from Thursday through Sunday, 12-3 PM. Bev Lambert, Miranda’s mom and co-founder of MuttNation Foundation, will be there, too, to help take photos of the animals and their new forever families. At 2018's event, 55 dogs were adopted.

MuttNation was founded by Bev and Miranda Lambert in 2009. It is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to "promote the adoption of shelter pets, advance spay and neuter and educate the public about the benefits of these actions." MuttNation also works with transport partners to relocate animals under threat of euthanasia and during natural disasters.
