Yes, Mickey Guyton Really Did Get Married in June

Mickey Guyton hinted at a big life change with an enigmatic Instagram post back in June that left fans wondering, and now, it's official: She and her longtime beau, Grant Savoy, are married!

People confirmed on Wednesday (Aug. 2) that Guyton and Savoy did, indeed, tie the knot on June 26. They married while surrounded by an intimate group of friends and family in Hawaii.

"It's kinda crazy that tomorrow will change my life forever," Guyton wrote on Instagram on June 25. "I love you Grant! #GrantFinale."

In an exclusive interview, Guyton tells People that 23 family members and friends attended her and Savoy's nuptials, which took place on a Hawaiian beach.

“Having a big wedding is really not my thing, so when my family decided on a vacation to Kauai, I thought, ‘Why not let it be a family vacation-turned-wedding?'” Guyton explains. "My husband has family from Kauai so it was important to him to have a luau at the wedding reception.”

Guyton announced her engagement to Savoy in November of 2016. At the time, she was keeping information about her now-husband private, but she'd previously shared that he is a lawyer and that they had been dating for a number of years.

Guyton released a new song, "Nice Things," in late July and is currently working on new music. In 2015, she toured with Brad Paisley and released a self titled EP.
