Since 2013, Stephenville songwriter Buck Fuffalo has held the Christmas-themed festival that brought friends from the Texas and Red Dirt songwriter community together to celebrate the season, and raise money for charity.

All proceeds from the Buck Fuffalo Family Christmas go to support Foster's Home for Children in Stephenville. Foster's Home for Children has served over 4,000 children since its inception in 1960 by providing both residential and foster care to disadvantaged and traumatized children in the area.

Located on Melody Mountain Ranch, T-Bird's Garage Pub is a full-service bar. Larry Joe Taylor's Melody Mountain Ranch hosts a variety of annual festivals and events, including Family Christmas and Larry Joe Taylor's Texas Music Festival (coming April 25-30, 2022).
