The Hotel Galvez in Galveston

I love haunted locations where you can actually stay the night. The Hotel Galvez is such a place. The location has a long haunted history surrounding the heartbroken Lovelorn Lady who ended her life after hearing about the death of her fiance. Beware of the 5th floor. You may hear footsteps running down the hall and doors slamming during the night.

The Marfa Lights

I've seen these in person and from where I was standing...creepy. These mysterious ghost lights that move and change colors have been reported as early as the mid-1800s. Take the drive to Marfa and see if you can catch them.

The Ghost Town in Terlingua

A real honest-to-goodness ghost town in Texas? You better believe it. You'll find what's left of this town near Big Ben National Park. Now it's mostly remnants of old houses and abandoned shafts from when the mine closed toward the end of World War II.
