While Aaron Watson may be known by his nickname The Honky Tonk Kid, it is unfair to call him that now because Aaron Watson has gone way beyond playing honky tonks where he earned the name early on in his career here in Texas.

However, Aaron will not be playing a honkytonk on Saturday, August the 6th, nor will he be outdoors either. Due to the extreme Texas heat Aaron Watson's scheduled concert at Potosi Live has been moved indoors. The Potosi Live staff made the tough decision to protect all Aaron Watson fans from the "record-breaking heat" and are moving this event into the comfortable air-conditioned Fun Town R/V Event Center.

Since there's a limited number of seats, everyone must have a ticket regardless of age

There are some special provisions in order for this event to move indoors. Number one, there is limited seating available so everyone must purchase a ticket, and this includes children of all ages. Number 2, no lawn chairs will be permitted inside of Potosi Live. Finally, the doors will open at 5:00 PM.

If you already have tickets they will be suitable for entry to the indoor concert. However, if you have any questions or concerns please contact Potosi Live's Events Coordinator Stephanie at, 325-574-4075 with any and all questions.

Aaron Watson is coming to Abilene on the heels of his new album "Unwanted Man" and with a fire in his step. His previous album "American Soul" was more of a Nashville-hip-country sound and was his worst-selling album to date.

It appears that Aaron has found himself and is back to Aaron central, meaning that he's not appealing to the Nashville contemporary sound but rather to his fan base which is more traditional and more Texas-Country-based as you'll hear in the video above. Aaron will have special guests Curtis Grimes and Kylie Frey.

So, if you're ready to have fun and hear some great Aaron Watson music you do not want to miss this show. Again, there are a very limited amount of tickets available which can be purchased online by clicking this link.
