As we begin celebrating the Christmas season of 2022, we should also remember the "12 Days of Christmas." Then It hit me, how about we celebrate our own "12 Days of Texas?" You know, just like the song only taking into account the blessings we've received in the Lone Star State.

Okay, the "Twelve Days of Christmas" song has some stuff I'm not all too familiar with. But I do know some history about Texas and a few facts. I don't know how accurate they are to date, but I thought it should be fun too. Here goes my attempt to write the "Twelve Days of Texas."

On the first day of Texas, the good Lord blessed us with One Lone Star that we placed on the Texas Flag. It has five points one for each letter in TEXAS, and “Texas” comes from the Caddo Native American word "Teja" which means “friends” or at least that's what we've been taught.

On the second day of Texas, the good Lord blessed us with only Two Weather Seasons one that's always Hot and the other really Cold, it seems as though it's "Summer, Spring, and Fall" and the other season is Winter.
