Dierks Bentley shared the stage with a country legend on the final night of the 2018 CMA Music Festival. During Sunday's (June 10) performances at Nissan Stadium, Bentley surprised the audience with an appearance by Dwight Yoakam.

Together, Bentley and Yoakam performed Yoakam's song "Fast as You;" readers can press play above to see their performance. Released as a single in October of 1993, the song comes from Yoakam's album This Time and became a Top 5 hit in both the United States and Canada.

“I got goosebumps all over my body,” Bentley told the Nissan Stadium crowd afterwards (quote via the Tennessean). “This is the best CMA Fest of my life. I can’t believe that just happened. I need a drink. I need to calm down. This is crazy.”

Back in April, Yoakam shared the stage with Keith Urban and Brothers Osborne for a performance of "Fast as You" during the Stagecoach country music festival. On Sunday night in Nashville, Bentley brought Brothers Osborne out during his set to perform their collaboration "Burning Man;" the two acts recorded the song together for Bentley's new album, The Mountain, and are touring together this summer.

Throughout CMA Fest 2018, fans could catch sets from Jon Pardi, Cassadee Pope and many, many (many ...) more. The annual four-day event was also filled with autograph signings, fan club parties and other special events; Garth Brooks dished about his new music (and played a few hits) during an appearance as well.

In August, ABC will air a TV special featuring footage from the Nissan Stadium shows. Thomas Rhett and Kelsea Ballerini are returning to co-host the show for a second year.
