Dan + Shay's next single will be a collaboration with pop star Justin Bieber. The brand-new track, called "10,000 Hours," is due out on Friday (Oct. 4).

Billboard reports that Dan Smyers, Shay Mooney and Bieber co-wrote "10,000 Hours" with Jordan Reynolds, Jessie Jo Dillon and Jason “Poo Bear” Boyd, and Smyers produced the track. The song is the first single from Dan + Shay's next album, though more details about that project have not yet been announced.

Smyers and Mooney have been friends with Bieber for a number of years; celebrity talent manager Scooter Braun is Bieber's manager and Dan + Shay's co-manager (with Jason Owen). The two artists and their wives attended Bieber and model Hailey Baldwin's wedding on Monday (Sept. 30) in South Carolina (the pair have been legally married since 2018).

Dan + Shay's next album, their fourth, follows 2018's Dan + Shay, a project that earned both critical and fan praise and recognition at numerous awards shows. All three singles from the record hit No. 1, as did the album itself. The two are the reigning ACM Vocal Duo of the Year, and are nominated for three CMA Awards; Smyers earned an additional three nominations for his work as a songwriter and producer.
