Clay Walker is kicking off a new year with new music, including a new single called "She Gets What She Wants."

The infectious tune was released at midnight on Christmas Eve and finds Walker harping on a girl who has him wrapped around her finger. "All she’s gotta do is ask me, ask me / Bat those lashes and look at me, look at me / One little kiss is enough to convince me y’all / She gets what she wants," he croons on the chorus.

Written by Kelly Archer, Troy Olsen, and Old Dominion's Brad Tursi, the flirty song is about how Walker is entranced by his lady — and he is making sure she gets every wish she desires.

"All I wanna do is make her happy," he sings.

On New Year's Day, Walker shared another new song called "Change" with fans. It's a soaring piano ballad that highlights his smooth vocals, and this time the country star is more reflective. He admits to wearing rough and ragged jeans — jeans built like he is. And like his old jeans, he's not changing for anyone.

"Why would I change / Something that feels so good to me / Whatever life brings / You can bet I'm going to be the same / That's what I am, all the way, till the day that I die / Why would I change," he sings on the chorus.

"She Gets What She Wants" and "Change" are a first taste from Walker's forthcoming album, Long Live the Cowboy, which will be released on Jan. 21. Ahead of the album's reveal, the country singer will drop another new song called "Makes Me Want to Stay" on Jan. 7, as well as a cover of Ed Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud."
