Chris Young has many fans, but one of them clearly made a special effort to make it to his show at Rupp Arena in Lexington, Ky. Saturday night (Nov. 23)—one that the singer did not overlook.

While performing "Who I Am With You," Young noticed a woman in the crowd holding up a sign that bore the message "Chemo Yesterday...Chris Young Today." As anyone who's battled cancer knows, chemotherapy can be quite draining...so Young decided on the spot to recognize her efforts and "go out in the audience and finish this one," as he explained on social media.

Young posted a touching video of himself right in the thick of the crowd singing with an arm around the fan, who appears overcome but manages to sing along with him. Fans on social media flooded his post with well-wishes and prayers for the woman, as well as glowing appreciation for Young's kind gesture.

For those who haven't been able to catch Young on tour—keep an eye out for him on television this Thanksgiving. Along with Chris Janson and Tenille Townes, he'll be part of the 2019 Macy's Thanksgiving parade on NBC.
