Chris Young capped off his celebration of 10 No. 1 hit singles with a performance of his most recent chart topper, "Losing Sleep," at the 2018 ACM Awards in Las Vegas, Nev., on Sunday evening (April 15). The country star stripped the song down, sharing a nearly acoustic version of the song with the fans watching.

Young performed the song with only two backup musicians: one on acoustic guitar, and one playing an electric guitar plugged into a small amp. The result was a simple, intimate version of the song that highlighted Young's vocals.

At the 2018 ACM Awards, Young was nominated for Male Vocalist of the Year, along with Jason Aldean, Thomas Rhett, Chris Stapleton and Keith Urban. Although Young has received 11 ACM nominations between 2007 and 2018, he has yet to bring home a win.

At a recent press conference, Young told The Boot that the Male Vocalist of the Year award is a special honor, and he doesn't take his nomination for the trophy lightly. However, he would have been excited for the awards ceremony even if he wasn't nominated for anything, because he enjoys spending time with his country artist friends.

"I'm excited to get out [in Vegas] with my friends, grab a craps table and just hang out," Young said. "It's really about the camaraderie, anytime when there's an event where we're all in one spot. Because of timing and schedules, a lot of us don't see each other outside of these kinds of events. So I'm excited to just hang out."
