With schools closed throughout the week, due to coronavirus fear, both school districts are offering free meals for needy students.

The Abilene Shipley Do-Nuts shop owner pledges to assist the elderly that need groceries and children that are hungry in our community, due to the Coronavirus concerns.

The Kiwanis Club of Abilene's 72nd Annual Pancake Day and Auction will take place this year after all. The new date has been set for October 24th, 2020. Get your tickets early.

The 43rd Annual All You Can Eat Cactus Lions Club Spaghetti Supper is March 7th. Lions Club members claim "their sauce is the best."

It's time for the Texas Wild Bunch Bonanza Cook Off and Auction. All attendees get to sample everything from deer to elk to bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers.

The 15th annual H-E-B Feast of Sharing dinner is Tuesday, December 10th from 4 PM - 8 PM at the Abilene Civic Center. The meal is free and entertainment are free.
