Brett Eldredge might just be making fans everywhere swoon with his rockin' new cover of Queen's "Crazy Little Thing Called Love." Readers can press play above to hear the full song.

Queen's original recording of "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" came out in October of 1979. The song was written by Freddie Mercury, and was included on the group's 1980 studio album The Game. In his take on the classic track, Eldredge stays true to what made the song so iconic to begin with, but isn't afraid to inject a little of his own country swagger.

Eldredge isn't the first country star to try a hand at the popular song. In 1999, Dwight Yoakam released his own version of "Crazy Little Thing Called Love," and included it on his Last Chance for a Thousand Years: Dwight Yoakam's Greatest Hits From the '90s studio album.

In addition to sharing the song on his official YouTube account, Eldredge posted a clip of himself singing the song to his dog, Edgar, in the bathroom. Although Edgar looked less than enthusiastic about the performance, Eldredge shared his excitement about being able to record the song for a Peloton commercial.

"We lost Freddie Mercury 27 years ago today, but his music still lives on," Eldredge explained in the caption of his post. He went on to toast the tribute with his fans as well as his dog.

In 2018, Eldredge embarked on his first-ever headlining tour. For more information about tickets to the shows, visit BrettEldredge.com.
