Brandi Carlile and Kelly Clarkson are in the lineup for the Aretha! A Grammy Celebration for the Queen of Soul tribute concert. Set for Jan. 13 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, Calif., the concert will be televised on CBS sometime in 2019. Alicia Keys, Shirley Caesar, Alessia Cara, Patti LaBelle, John Legend and more artists are also set to perform during the event; tickets for the concert are on sale now at AXS.com.

Kacey Musgraves is the sole country artist set to perform at the 2019 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. According to the lineup posted by the iconic California festival to Twitter on Jan. 2, Musgraves will perform on the first night of both festival weekends, April 12 and April 19, joining rapper Childish Gambino, Americana act Hurray for the Riff Raff and R&B breakout Ella Mai, among others.

Congratulations are in order for Michael Trent and Cary Ann Hearst, better known as folk duo Shovels & Rope, who recently announced the forthcoming arrival of a new baby boy! The news came in a Jan. 2 Instagram post, which notes that the child is due at the end of January. "Yup, baby whatshisname is coming in hot and we are so excited and a little scared and everything else that goes along with it," the duo writes. The new addition to Hearst and Trent's family joins 3-year-old big sister Louisiana Jean, who was born in September of 2015.

Oklahoma natives Toby Keith and Jimmie Allen will perform at the inauguration of Kevin Stitt, the state's newly elected governor. The inaugural ball will be held on Jan. 14 in Oklahoma City, and the two artists will be joined by the Oklahoma City Philharmonic and Cherokee Youth Choir at the black-tie event, according to Taste of Country.
