The 2018 ACM Honors were held on Wednesday night (Aug. 22) at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, and some of country music's biggest stars were on the red carpet for the 12th annual event.

Each year, the ceremony recognizes the winners of ACM's Special Awards, Industry Awards, Studio Recording Awards and the Songwriter of the Year. Ahead of the show, artists were hanging out and catching up with each other in between visits with local press. Couples like Kelsea Ballerini and Morgan Evans, Lauren Alaina and fiance Alex Hopkins, and Cassadee Pope and Nashville's Sam Palladio were spotted on the red carpet, as were longtime friends Darius Rucker, Kip Moore and Dierks Bentley.

Ashley McBryde, Kassi Ashton and presenter Jordan Davis stunned in their red carpet attire. McBryde looked fierce in a red suit and braids — rocking a Guns N' Roses T-shirt underneath — while newcomer Ashton turned heads in a pink outfit she made herself.  Moore tried on dapper for size in black pants, a patterned shirt, suspenders and Newsboy Cap, while co-host Jon Pardi donned an all black Manuel suit. Pardi, Dustin Lynch and Jimmie Allen all sported cowboy hats, and Cam looked stunning in a form fitting silver dress with flower embroidery.

The talk of the night (and day after) was Sam Hunt, though, who recently shaved his head and beard!
