Classic Margarita

1 1/4 oz tequila
2/3 oz of Cointreau or Triple Sec
1/2 oz of lemon or lime juice
salt for rimming

You just can't go wrong with a classic. Now, you can go buy a good already mixed margarita, but the best ones are made from scratch. Just take these simple ingredients (above) and mix them all together in a tumbler with ice. Rub the rim of your glass with salt, pour the mix into the glass, and enjoy.

Cadillac Margarita

1 1/2 oz premium tequila
1 oz Grand Marnier
3/4 oz lime juice
salt for rimming

Basically, this recipe is just a step up from the classic, accept, you'll use premium ingredients. Just mix all of the ingredients in a shaker with ice cubes, then pour it all into a chilled glass. Super simple.

Jalapeno Margarita

1 1/2 oz Tequila Don Julio Reposado
1 oz fresh lime juice
1 jalapeno pepper, muddled
1/2 oz Grand Marnier orange liqueur
Splash of orange bitters
Splash of agave nectar
Jalapeno pepper for garnish

If you want to add a little spice to your life, then this is the margarita for you. In a shaker, ground and crush a small jalapeno in the bottom. Then add in Don Julio Reposado, lime juice, Grand Marnier, and agave syrup with ice. After shaking the ingredients together, strain into a glass and garnish with a jalapeno. If you choose to use a very hot jalapeno, you might want to eat some ice cream afterward.

Mango Margarita

1 1/4 cups of cubed Mango
6 oz Tequila
6 oz Sour Mix
2 oz Triple Sec
ice

Pour all of your liquids together in a blender, then add the cubed mango. After blending for about 10-15 seconds, add ice and blend for another 30+ seconds until slushy. Pour into a chilled glass, high-five everybody, then serve.

Chocolate Margarita

1 1/2 oz tequila
1 oz Godiva liquor
2 tablespoon chocolate syrup
3/4 oz cream
2 oz orange juice
1/2 oz lime juice
Stirrings Cocoa Rimmer
ice

If you love chocolate, this tasty recipe will give you your fix. Use the Cocoa Rimmer on the glass that you'll use to serve the drink. Simply mix all ingredients in a shaker full of ice and pour into the cocoa rimmed glass. To really take care of that sweet tooth, add a little whipped cream on top.

Cherry-Lime Margarita

1/2 cup cherries pitted and mashed or 2 oz Fresh cherry puree
1 oz simple syrup
1 oz fresh lime juice
3/4 oz Cointreau
1-1/2 oz tequila
Lime wedge for garnish

This is one of those recipes that you'll want to be careful with because it's very, very tasty. In a shaker mash the cherries with the simple syrup and lime juice. Then, add the other ingredients and shake it all together. (Doing the hokey pokey is optional). Grab a chilled glass and rub lime around the rim, then dip in salt. Add mixed ingredients, and enjoy.

Three Amigos Margarita

1 shot of Patron Silver
1 shot of Corazon Reposado Tequila
1 shot of El Tesoro Anejo Tequila
1.50oz of Cointreau
3oz of Jose Cuervo Margarita Mix

This recipe is for you tequila connoisseurs out there because it uses a few different brands of tequila. Just fill up a shaker with ice and ingredients and then shake it all about (doing the hokey pokey is optional). After shaking, pour the mixture into a salt-rimmed glass, and serve. That's what it's all about.

Cantaloupe Margarita

2 ounces tequila
1-ounce triple sec
1 ounce simple syrup (made with 1 part water, 1 part sugar)
1⁄2 ounce Midori melon liqueur
1⁄2 ounce lemon juice

In a blender, mix up all ingredients with 3/4 cup of ice. Blend until smooth. Then pour the mix into a chilled glass and serve. If you want to get real fancy, garnish with a slice of cantaloupe.

1 cup strawberries, hulled and halved
1 ripe banana, peeled and sliced
4 1/2 ounces of tequila
1 1/2 ounces triple sec
2 tablespoons fresh lime or lemon juice

This fruity beverage requires you to freeze strawberries and banana slices for about an hour. Then blend all of your ingredients together until it's smooth but thick. Pour into a chilled glass and garnish with a strawberry, banana, or both.

Watermelon Mint Margarita

4 cups seeded and chopped watermelon
Fresh lime juice
Sugar
1/2 cup tequila
1/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon grated lime rind
1/4 cup fresh lime juice
2 tablespoons chopped fresh mint leaves
Garnish: fresh mint sprig

Here's another tasty mix that is dangerous because it tastes so good. First, you want to freeze your watermelon on a baking sheet for about 4 hours. Rub the rim of the glass with lime juice and sugar. Blend frozen watermelon, tequila, and the rest of the ingredients until slushy. Garnish with mint leaves or a slice of watermelon, then serve in a chilled glass.
